More than a place on the Hill
The National Anzac Centre sits perched atop Mt Clarence, in Albany Western Australia, overlooking the magnificent King George Sound. The centre provides a place of contemplation for visitors who immerse themselves in learning of Albany’s role throughout war times, told through the stories of the Anzacs.
Knowing the landscape.
Understanding exhibition requirements is a unique skillset, not only providing recommendations around material choices, finishing options and detailing ideas it also requires forward thinking of how visitors will interact with a space and how the space might evolve in the future.
Working with BGC construction to deliver the entire suite of exhibition graphics within the National Anzac Centre, Publik became as much a consultant as a graphics contractor. Graphics need to integrate with the built environment and as such need careful consideration as to how they might be displayed and when the time comes, how they will be updated with minimal disturbance to the rest of the exhibition. Throughout the build phase we were in close contact with the builder on a daily basis to provide input to how best prepare the works for the graphics integration, this combined partnership resulted in an issue free delivery within the tightest of deadlines.
